About this class

The popularity and awareness of 3D Printing is exploding!!  So come learn with us!!!  3D printing is breaking down barriers in design and manufacturing, and making what was previously impossible, possible for anyone with just a fundamental understanding of the technology.

In this class, your child will learn the fundamentals of CAD (Computer Aided Design) and 3D printing, including all the main facets of 3D Printing: 3D Design and Modelling, preparing the file for print, and finally, the actual 3D Printing in the classroom!

This class is suitable for both novices and those more experienced with technology. Anyone with an interest in 3D printing and who wants to learn should come along!

Preparation

Laptops will be provided to all the students, but we recommend you bring your own laptop computer loaded with Autodesk 123Design (free software, please download and install before class http://www.123dapp.com/design).
